Talks with 100% Design

During 23rd edition of the UK’s largest trade show for architets and interior designers in Olympia London, on the 22nd of September, Justyna Medon – Addicted to Patterns co-founder will take part in a panel discussion “Handmade in Britain”.

With Christopher Jenner, designer and Neil Stevenson, Managing Director – N.E.J. will talk about UK’s craft and design heritage. They will discuss why UK’s craft is respected worldwide, why they decided to devote their future to create bespoke products, do something what seemed to be a dying profession, doomed by mass and cheap production, but… as we see, is celebrating a big comeback.

How in current digital world knowledge of traditional craft gives an opportunity to run a business? How makers are able to do things and create stories? Product is not only a thing, it is a creation of human hands, something what has got a dose of passion and true affection, something what makes you fall in love with.

The panel will take place in the Auditorium, at 12.15 on 22nd of September.
